Nightshade

The knights and kings and nobles couldn’t be prepared.
Starlight struck those who never breathed the air.
Darkness, grey, distortion.
It all had arrived.

Similarly the wolf attacks this night.
Standing tall, proud along the cliffs ready to fight.
Only moon shines down illuminating all.
The herald came back
-they all had arrived.

Douse in hate! Douse in Fire!
Raw emotions crucify those who flee.
Innocence=death.
Unto the eyes only the guilty shall stand.

Now with your eyes cast wide.
Will you fight my war?
Enter and die.

Welcome to the Nightshade,
I welcome you all.
Tortured, inflicted we shall all fall.

He heralded his prophecy.
Prophecy of doom.
Go leave! Here it comes!
The time is right.

So they attacked!
They fled.
Gallantly collapsing.
They all turned a pail death.

The air now unbreathable.
The king is dead!
Let it go,
For nothing is left.

Welcome to the Nightshade.
I welcome you all.
Tortured, inflicted we shall all fall.

Welcome to the Nightshade
I welcome you all.
Tortured, inflicted we shall all fall.
